My provider Dr Kotyar was excellent except that as a 30 year long patient who delivered 3 babies with the practice did not have my complete history in the EMR. She was excellent with what she was left with and listened thoroughly but it was a deficient past physicians that over the years and many EMR did not transfer the information. This is mainly why I switched to the newest physician to the practice. She was superb at her job except for filling my prescription but as a past physician with the practice I know how to get this done

I have seen Dr. Nadal, Amy Serrano and connecting with Kionna through texts, phone calls and emails! Everyone has been so nice, friendly and informative, they’re all so helpful with answering my questions (first time pregnant) and never rushed any of my appointments. At my 10 weeks NIPT screening appointment I was feeling unsure about the health of the baby, they were so helpful at the Westport location and didn’t mind setting up a different room on the spot to perform a quick ultrasound to check on the heartbeat soon as I expressed my concerns. I enjoy seeing them and I look forward to receiving their care throughout the rest of my pregnancy! I have also visited the Norwalk location before for an ultrasound appointment, everyone was very friendly and nice to my husband and me introducing us to this whole new phase of our lives

Dr. Taylor-Giorlando has been an amazing OBGYN. She delivered my son when she was still a resident at Yale, and I followed her over to this practice after that because of how amazing she was. Both of my pregnancies were high risk and they were able to detect It very early for my daughter when I was 24 weeks pregnant and I’m so grateful for their time and attention to detail.

Let me start by saying that i regret my entire visit and wished i had never gone. None of my specific needs were met because the practice was not interested in my specific care. Their digital questionnaire was a complete invasion of my privacy. And when i called to complain i was threatened that information will go on my permanent medical record.

I have been using Avery Center for about 2-3 years and I am very happy with their services. It is a busy practice, but they always go out of their way to find time to see you if you have any urgent concerns. I have met all of the doctors and PAs by now and I love all of them! Their ultrasound technicians are great too as they actually talk to you and provide feedback unlike in some other practices. The nurses are also very nice and friendly. A special shout out goes to Kiana, the pregnancy navigator. She is amazing! I am in the middle of a difficult pregnancy after having several bad miscarriages, so I am very anxious about everything that doesn’t seem right. But despite my frequent calls and a lot of questions, Kiana never makes me feel like I am just overly anxious. She treats my concerns seriously and always tries to calm me down and make me feel better. She even follows up after I call her to make sure everything is ok!! I have never had this kind of experience at any other OBGYN clinic. So I am very happy to have Kiana and all of the doctors and medical staff at Avery Center to support me during this pregnancy.

I've had nothing but amazing experiences here. Everyone is so professional and informed, and the patient is always the only priority. I came in here today for last minute appointment for an acute issue, assuming it would have to be a bit rushed. While Dr. Goldberg had a packed schedule, he still made time to do a full exam and overdue ultrasound since it had been a few years since my last visit. It was efficient but I never felt rushed. I was so impressed, and felt so cared for. It takes a lot of work to make a gynecology visit enjoyable, but the team here do every time. I feel so lucky to have found this place and recommend it to everyone!

I started with the Avery center for prenatal visits. Half of the time the doctors were late to my appointments, by as much as 30-50 minutes, with no apology or explanation. Appointments were 5 minutes long and any concern I had was not assessed and I wasn’t given good medical advice or possible treatments to help my concerns. My husband was completely ignored in the room when I feel that pregnancy should be a special experience for fathers too. I switched to another practice for prenatal care and with two appointments I already feel 100 times more comfortable with my new providers. Kionna at the front desk is the exception, she was very professional and was very helpful and fast with any requests I had.

If I could give zero stars I would. I served as a doula for one of there clients, and I watched Dr Ofer dismiss her concerns, gaslit her after saying he never said things myself, the nurse, and my client heard, and worst of all disappeared mid shift- no one could find him and he didn’t even tell the nurses, just took off- and gave us attitude about feeling abandoned. Didn’t check on my client at all and then had the nerve to d/c her from his practice via letter while still hospitalized because she dared to question him. His ego was evident, and if she hadn’t advocated for herself as hard as she did, she would have ended up in the OR. So much more but I can’t share it here. Run, don’t walk, from this practice.
